How to register a project ? PDF Print
JoomlaCode.org is a resource for developers to build and manage Open Source software projects centred around Joomla! With JoomlaCode.org we aim to help build Open Source tools and extensions for the Joomla! user community by providing resources to help developers work together in an Open Source spirit.

All project requests are verified against the guidelines for new projects, and approved by a member of the Joomlacode team. The guidelines can be found here: <insert link>. When the guidelines have been read, it's time to start with the project request.
  1. Like most resources, JoomlaCode works with user accounts. Create one on JoomlaCode, which can be done here: http://joomlacode.org/gf/account/?action=UserAdd.
  2. Wait for the registration email, register and log in to Joomlacode here: http://joomlacode.org/gf/account/?action=Login.
  3. The link to Project requests can be found here: http://joomlacode.org/gf/register/?action=ProjectAdd.
  4. Enter the form information. The 'Project purpose' is the field which is used by the Joomlacode team to grant or deny the project request. After submitting, it will be reviewed by the Joomlacode time. As granting projects is a manual process, it can take a day or two before the project has been granted/denied. An email will be sent after this has been done.
When a new project is approved, the developer can start configuring his new project.
