 Developer Documentation Team

The Developer Documentation Team produces and maintains developer and other technical documentation aimed at third-party developers and template designers.  Most of this documentation can be found at the Joomla! Developer Network website and in particular the developer wiki. The Joomla! source code contains embedded comments and tags that, when combined with an analysis of the code itself, is used to automatically generate one of our most invaluable resources: api.joomla.org .  Although the comments and tags are mostly written by the Developer Team, the Developer Documentation Team is responsible for monitoring and improving them where necessary.

The Developer Documentation Team has a public discussion forum.  There is also a publicly-readable mailing list archive.
